FATE OF JULY

July 2013 was a story-filled month with so many activities.
On the side of some- ill-fate, to others great omens.

1st of July, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) commenced a nation wide strike. Thousands of university undergraduates have since then been forced to idle lifestyle paralysing all activities in schools.

Crisis in Rivers politics worsened resulting to National Assembly taking over from the state’s law makers.

Monday 29th, multiple bomb explosions rocked Kano leading to the death of scores including a serving cops member.

Wednesday 31t, I received a text from a friend which reads:
Today is the last day of July; it will
not be your last day on earth. (Amen)
The same day I got the text, eight persons including a lecturer were slaughtered in Biu LGA of Borno state.
A couple, kid and motorcyclist were crushed in a road accident.
So many others lost their lives at different locations.

There were several other issues that took place within the month July. Crisis in Delta state, cultists clash in Edo, to mention but a few.

Here you are reading my blog. Do you think you and I are too special to be alive?

Definitely not. It’s just God’s grace. What’s your relationship with God like?

Amend your ways!!!
HAPPY NEW MONTH.
