Scientific discoveries have been able to unveil many controversial phenomena and off course proferred answers to several rather (or seemingly) controversial questions.

For instance, geography has been able to prove that the earth is spherical in shape, astronomy says there are nine planets with other celestial bodies; there are many other scientific discoveries to solve life’s many challenges.

The more time we spend trying to understand all of them, the more we wonder from God’s presence.

The theory of evolution says that many years ago, small particles come together to form protoplasm, the first form of life. Years after years, this (protoplasm) changed into fish, later to lung fish. Due to environmental changes, the fish developed muscular limbs to overcome such challenge as drought.
Overtime, the animal keep evolving into differrent forms until man finally came up.

Humanly, it seems rather logical; but put more thought to it.

If you were told that your blackberry phone, iPhone, android or whatever gadget came into being by the small pieces gathering together over a long period of time piece by piece, would you believe that.
We all believe that something/ or someone’s intelligence has created it, right?

How come we find it so difficult to believe the creation of man, but no, we would rather welcome the evolutionist’s view. It seems more logical, right?

God created man in His likeness and for His glory. Every other things came to be through the words of His mouth.
But man, He stooped down and craftly created him. That He should live as head (care taker) to every other creature; and to glorify Him.

Questions for the atheists: the earth we believe to be spherical in shape, how come we don’t skid off into space as it rotates, gravity? Definitely not, for even gravity loose its grip when an object is tilted.
Something powerful must be holding us up- God. The air we breath, who made it? God!
It is believed that as a living being, one must eventually die; true, many are dead already but what becomes of them? Does life just end at that point?
Who made the universe itself? Even if the earth is believed to have resulted from chemical reactions in the sun, where do the chemicals come from; who made the sun? It all point to no where else but God.

Seasons don’t just come to be, they were specially planned out by someone so powerful and wise – God.

How about the earth hanging freely in space, is there still a gravitational force holding up the whole earth?
Of course not, but God’s power is.

Back to evolution, if the theory were so true, how long more do we wait to change into a different form; or is human the climax of evolution? Man has been in existence for millions of years but has not changed form as the theory supposes.

Since i was born, the mosquito I’ve known is the same as that described by my grand parents.
So many great books have been written but non can be compared to the BIBLE. Because, the Bible contain the mind of God; it is inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16).

JESUS is the ONLY answer to all life’s questions!

Once again, God’s design and purpose: God made man in His image to be head/ superior over other creatures. He created the woman afterwards to keep the man company. Then He instituted marriage that man an woman come together as one and bear children.

But man, so wise so foolish says God was wrong in His design. Inordinate affections set in. Man desires man, woman to woman. Then you begin to wonder, what happens to child bearing? Science say don’t worry, assisted reproductory technology (ART) is the answer; where children are incubated in tubes, or sperms artificially inseminated. Or other options as the employment of a surrogate mother.

With these, biology of true parenthood is eliminated, blood line is interfered, true child love is destroyed, family lineage is hampered. We become like plants, even worse off.
Animals behave better and more sensible. For never have I seen a male dog chasing after another male dog for sexual pleasure.

God made everything perfect as they are; man’s efforts to alter His purpose bring out the foolishness in man.
Science and technology have brought about many danger overtime. This shows how unreliable man’s design is, and will continue to be.

We should turn to God, for His purpose for us is to bring us to an expected end.
John 3:16, Romans 10: 8-10.

Don’t be wise in your own conceit, for the wisdom of man is foolishness before God.

The Chance in Every Challenge

Life could sometimes be harsh, still you have to live it. Obstacles are not meant to break you but to make you.

Life may be boring sometimes, you don’t have to end it. Difficulties are not meant to destroy you but build you.

Life could be tough sometimes, face it with courage. Trials are not meant to tear you but train you.

Life could be messy sometimes, move on. Adversities are not meant to varnish you; they come with added advantages.

Life could be pain sometimes, bear it. Oppressions are not meant to end your quest, they pose opportunities.

Life could be disappointing sometimes, be patient with. Delay is not denial.

Life may be harsh sometimes, smile with it still. Predicaments should not make you run afoul of the law.

Challenges are not meant to crush you, but create chance. Face life with tenacity.

There is a chance in every challenge.

The Tongue Gift

Man’s fall from God’s presence in the garden of Eden created a gap between God and man. Human efforts could not bridge that gap; but God in His infinite mercy provide the means through His begotten Son – Jesus.

Jesus came into the world to rescue us. He loves mankind so much that He wouldn’t want any to perish. At His depature, He entrusted the great commission of RECONCILIATION into the hands of the disciples and indeed all believers.

The account of Acts 2 points out the unity all people everywhere have in God through the Holy Spirit. It is a reversal of Babel incidence where language of the heathen was split (division).

Our commission, as christians is to reconcile people of every human race through the Holy Spirit unto God.

At the time the foundation of ‘The Church’, there was a problem of language difference. The gift of speaking in tongues was bestowed on the disciples so they could minister to people of all languages in their tongues.

The gift of tongues is to unite us all in God through the Holy Spirit.
Language should not be a barrier to your salvation and ministry.

The journey of the Israelites out of Egypt portrays the Journey of of every christian of this contemporary time. Your journey from uncertainty into eternity begins the moment you forsake eventuality and embrace reality.

We are journeying out of the world into Heaven.

The christian pilgrimage is characterised by surmounting difficulties and challenges. Obstacle, untold hardship and hindrances lurk around at various points along the path of eternity. They are not meant to break us, but to prove our faith.

The people of Jericho, when they learnt of the presence of the Israelites were filled with terror. In order to prevent the progress of the Israelites, they became an obstacle. The gate of the city was shut to deny the Israelites access into the city. In so doing, they hindered themselves; as they would neither go too.

There are enemies today that would place themselves under a curse to affect. So long as they don’t make progress, you won’t either.

The option the Israelites had was to pull down the thick wall of Jericho. This they did by praising God. The sound of their joyful praises did it for them.

By prayer and praises you can pull down every wall of Jericho the enemies have erected to hinder your progress.

At the read sea, the Israelites encountered a seemingly impossibility. Before them was the red sea, behind was pharaoh and his chariots. Should they go forward, they would perish in the sea. Should they turn back, pharaoh would have no mercy upon them.
They looked unto themselves but no one could help, they looked to Moses, he was helpless himself. But when Moses cried out unto God; God created a dry path through the great sea and destroyed their enemies in the same sea afterwards.

When we look up to God, our problems are solved. Call upon Him and He’ll break every yoke and make you.

Murderers of Honesty

You demanded for extra money for materials you paid less.
You charge you customers higher than normal, then you praise God for the so much gain;

You are well aware your sister is adulterous, but you cover up for her to save her marriage.

You condemn others’ effort only for selfish interest; in order to gain the favour of your boss.

You knew he is corrupt yet you fight those who want to expose him.

You frown publicly at examinations malpractice, but you can’t help indulging in the act.

You desire trust; yet you can’t keep to your words.

Whatever happened to honesty?

Good Gifts- That Much God Requires.

Numbers 7
Tells me how God appreciates offerings- good ones at that.
Of course, the old covenant teaches us how God’s people worshiped and appeased God.

The Israelites actually prepared themselves toward giving. Offering arrangements were never impromptu.
Guilt pounced on me while meditating on the passage for only on very few occasions have I prepared myself for offerings before days of worship.

I write this piece because am sure, many of us Christians are guilty and we need to change our attitudes toward the service of the Master’s vineyard.
We are often too occupied attending to life issues. We sometimes wake up before realising the was a day of worship. How about we wake up someday to realise the rapture had taken place? Change before it’s too late.

It’s true, God delights in offering but not so much as your obedience.
1Samuel 15:22 …to obey is better than sacrifice.

In as much, your faith in Christ will surely prompt you to give good gifts. For good deeds are the evidences of faith which is alive- James 2:14-18

Faith prompts you into action. One’s faith is justified by his works.

God delights so much in good gifts; such as that offered from a pure and joyful mind without grudging. Our sacrifices of praise, tue worships, helps given to the poor and needy are pleasant gifts to God.
He does not cherish your millions much as He finds pleasure in your obedience.

You have faith in God? You will surely do good works before the Master. You can never sit on the fence if your faith is genuine.
